Mit mehr als 7 Jahre Erfahrung in Grafik-Design und über 2 Jahre bei der Fotografie verbindet er Kreativität mit starker Motivation und findet die richtige Balance, um Karriere mit Privatleben zu verknüpfen.
Elle:
Tell us about your background and how you came to be a photographer.
Larsen Sotelo:
I have background in Graphic design and started getting into photography about 3 years ago and been a full-time photographer this past year.
Elle:
What do you enjoy most about being a photographer?
Larsen Sotelo:
Having a lot of freedom and creating art and of course get to photographer beautiful and very talented artists.
Elle:
Is there anything you dislike about being a photographer?
Larsen Sotelo:
The business side of it.
Elle:
How has your shooting style and work ethic changed in time?
Larsen Sotelo:
I fell like it changes every year. I get bored easily with my work and like to challenge myself everyday. My goal is to have a unique style that similar to the greats like Helmut, Juergen, or a Ryan McGinley.
Elle:
What equipment and software do you make use of in your workflow?
Larsen Sotelo:
I have a Nikon D700 for my DSLR, a few point and shoot film cameras, Polaroid cams, and a medium format film camera. As for software i use photoshop and lightroom.

What is your dream project?
Larsen Sotelo:
Good question. Doing a fashion spread for Bizarre Magazine with Kate Moss.
Elle:
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Larsen Sotelo:
At a beautiful secluded beach in the middle of nowhere shooting a pirelli calendar.
