Die erste Begegnung der Köpfe von SomeKindaWonderful klingt ein wenig nach Blockbuster, alles geschah 2013 in einer Bar in Cleveland, als sich Jordy Towers zu einer Art halböffentlichen Bandprobe von Ben und Matt hinzustellte und dazu sag. In diesem Moment war ihm noch nicht klar, dass seine Worte: „Das sollten wir sofort aufnehmen.“ ihn auf Erfolgskurs bringen würden.
Hinter SomeKindaWonderful stecken Frontman Jordy Towers, Schlagzeuger Ben Schigel und Gitarristen Matt Gibson, Justin Andres und Sarah Dryer, zusammen produzieren sie eine Mischung aus feinstem Soul, Alternative-Pop, und Pop-Rock gepaart mit der einzigartigen Stimme von Jordy Towers, ist SomeKindaWonderful einer der vielversprechendsten neuen Bands.

Well.. it’s not really Justin Timberlake.. it’s more like the record label just trying to make me into something that i wasn’t.. just their preconceived notion of who i should be as an artist!

Its actually written in ‘reverse’.. its written backwards in chronological order and it’s also written backwards in the terms of the roles.. the experience actually happened to Jordy.. he was cheated on by a girl and the only way he could get over the experience was to write about it but it was too painful to re-tell the story so he changed th e

SomeKindaWonderful:
They’re all our favorite! they all mean something to us differently so it’s difficult to say which one is specifically the fav as that would be like saying one experience is more enjoyable than another because every song is based on an experience and every experience in life makes you who you are today.

Do you have any plans to tour in Germany sometime this year?

Yes absolutely !!! Can’t wait to come back hopefully this summer. :-)
